Dr. Zafar Iqbal Gondal is a highly experienced and trained Laparoscopic, Bariatric and Obesity / weight loss Surgeon with extensive experience in Bariatric & Metabolic, GI and Abdominal surgeries from Belgium, France, UAE and Pakistan. His qualifications MBBS are through Allama Iqbal Medical College (Pakistan), MRCS from The Royal College of Surgeons (Ireland), FRCS from The Royal College of Surgeons(Glasgow-UK), MCPS, FCPS from College of Physicians and Surgeons (Pakistan). FEBS -Fellow European Board of Surgery -Belgium, holding a University Diploma(Laparoscopic Surgery (MIS) from University of Strasbourg in France,Diploma (Laparoscopic Surgery (MIS) from Taiwan, Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery from Belgium. FACS from (USA) . He is an active Member of IFSO (Austria), ESMBS (UAE), IBC (UK) and MGB-OAGB group.
Dr. Gondal is practicing as a Senior Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeon with a special focus in Bariatric and Obesity Surgery . He has an impressive 21 years of international and national experience in General & Advanced laparoscopic surgery. Dr Gondal is proud to be the first surgeon in Pakistan who performed first live Lap MGB-OAGB in pakistan. He has been practicing in UAE and Pakistan,and is skilled in performing vast variety of Bariatric & Metabolic / Weight Loss Surgeries,General and advanced laparoscopic surgical procedures, Upper and lower GI Surgeries etc.
